i just want to add in to what haixin and angela has said about them missing trainings.

i just want to say that ppl have been saying things about you guys missing trainings partly because of us. we didnt take the initiative to let everyone know the reasons why you gals missed trainings. so for that im really sorry.

but ya. i really understand now that everyone's very busy with school work. so we really cant blame you guys for not turning up for trainings. after all, we are all in sp to study. and basketball is just more of a form of "destressing." so for those who still want to complain behind ur backs. i really dont know what they are up to.

we cannot please everyone in the team. somehow. at any point in time. we might just cause some of our teammates to feel unhappy for some unknown reason. hopefully we can be more understanding on this matter.

anyways. for those individuals who regularly come for trainings... job well done! and one more thing. if you still want to complain about those ppl missing trainings. think twice. just think in a different way!! in what way? just be positive. if they miss the training. its their loss. at least u kept yourself fit! you learned new things and you enjoyed yourself. so stop complaining!!!!

alright, tis' my first post on our team's blog.
i jus wanna share sth with u girls..

i'm sure some of you feel shortchanged cos i kno a few of us haven been showing up for trg. and i'm sure you wonder that why issit that they always fail to show up for trg? you'll probably think that 'oh, they're jus plain lazy and irresponsible.'
you'd jus assume that these people are not doing their part for the team at all.

but hey, i do feel bad when i'm not able to attend trgs.
we're all grown-ups now, each of us has different priorities in life.
some of us need to attend lessons and work; n life's pretty tough for 3rd year students.
it's really hard to balance everything perfectly, sometimes, we don't even haf enough time to slp. that is why i haf to skip trgs to make time for reports, presentations, tests, and my shop.
you'd probably argue that HEY it's not as if you're the one laden with sch work and stuffs.
well i kno and i understand. but right now, sch work is VERY important to me and i wanna put in extra efforts to get better grades before graduating.
it's not up to us to decide..but there are duties and responsibilities for every one of us. and some of these things may mean much more to us, than just basketball.

sorry for not turning up for trgs,
but i hope that the rest of you can understand the difficulties that some of us face.
c'mon, a team needs people who are accomodating and understanding.
instead of blaming and nagging the others for skipping trgs,
why not do things that can really motivate the whole team?
why can't we be more encouraging towards one another..

team spirit is a cornerstone for building up the team;

buildin the team means much more than jus attendance of trainings.

well, i've said my part.
hope hx will feel better, cos i can understand that it isn't her fault.

Hey all...i was from sp bball last time..
well just some comments...
it has been the situation like now since few yrs ago...
very few ple turning up for trainings and not motivated..
as a capt, i tried all means to improve the situation
but then... if i did not rmb wrongly...
one person told me...
u cannot force ple to think of the same as u.
different ple set their priorities in life differently
and so... i guess there are a lot more things in life that are more impt to these players thn just basketball..
work, family, friends, relationship and studies...
all these will just take away time from basketball...
and so just take it easy folks...
winning or losing is not important man!!!!!
just enjoy the game and not bother too much about other people or other things....
if not..
i guess nobody will be happy in the team... not u, not her.. not anyone..

hey everyone out dere,

something to announce to u guys. think all of u must be saying ard my back tt i hav not been going trg the other time. just to correct yes i've not been going for trg BUT about half of the times the trgs was cancelled at the very beginning when we resume our trgs. so it equals to everyone not turning up. as for other times y i did not turn up for trg is due to my personal reasons (NOT girlfriend or laziness, its my work) which i shall not mention too much or y i hav to work. so ppl pls do not talk behind my back.so before u guys noe the real reasons y i didnt turn up for trgs, i think i still deserve the understandings from ur. any disagreements or unhappy issues about me as captain jus say it out. anyway, i will be bringing this matter up on our next trg. gonna clear everything and ur can decide whether to change captain. being a captain or not is not impt to me only adds on to my busy schedule as a yr3 students.

usual crap: LETS TRAIN HARDER AND ACHIEVE SOMETHING MAN! WE CAN DO IT!
oh yah, we said that every year. and every year it's getting nowhere. but seriously, it's not like we suck at basketball and we no longer has that dumbass ah kok.
so what is wrong with us?
too lazy? not united? no team spirit? not enthu enough?

we need to be tougher and train for our fitness. since year one is coming in, i think it's better to start now before it's too late when they adapted and became used to our 'slack' culture.

note:
please kindly inform captain/anyone when you are not coming for training.
it suck to have only half the team turning up for training.

ps: peiye, tell your husband jay he suck at basketball. hahaha. you better spend some time and teach him basketball before he disgrace himself in every star charity basketball game. =p
